Recorded at Sam Phillips' legendary Sun Studio in Memphis Tennessee... The band finished up their set at the New Daisy Theater on Beale Street then headed for a recording session at Sun Studios... The band performed all 8 tracks on the CD 2X, LIVE in the studio... All tracks were recorded between 11:30 PM and 2:00 AM and the band ended up nailing each track on their first take... Special thanks go out to The Queen of Pennsylvania Blues, Ms. Bev Conklin who's fantastic vocals round out the musicianship of Friar's Point Band on this CD... Also Special thanks to the 17 faithful fans who came to Memphis in support of the band's efforts in the Semifinals of the IBC competition and rallied through the late night/early morning recording session at Sun Studios...
